CAIRNSPRESS: Day Three
Cairns Crocodiles 2026 | Live from the courtyard
G’day.
No amount of sauna-ing can sweat out the learnings (and less so, the liquor) from the last two days at Cairns Crocodiles.
We got in early to hit a few sessions in the morning and snag some of those delicious Light & Tangy crisps that they put outside the main auditorium. But, what did we learn? What were the smarter conversations? Those takes are below.
AND the big ticket item of the day was SKMG’s Andrew Knowles owning the stage at Hemingway’s Brewery this afternoon for ‘When The Shit Hits The Fan’. We Substacked it live, but fear not, the full session will be uploaded soon. Was Andrew’s 40 minute sauna enough to make him coherent by the time he took the mic? You’ll have to watch and find out.
Thanks for tuning in this week kids, that’ll be all for now.
Something else
In case you haven’t seen… We’re launching Crisis Ready: five 90-minute sessions over five weeks on media pressure, reputation, issues management and what to do when the world seems to be crashing down around you (preferably before it does).
There’s 20 spots available, selling now and starting 17 June.
