CAIRNSPRESS: Day Two
Cairns Crocodiles 2026 | Live from the lagoon
Mahalo.
Wild weather on day two of Cairns Crocodiles wasn’t slowing anybody down. Despite the hangovers and the morning rain, we hit a plethora of sessions, which Neil and Andrew have dissected in the video below.
Today, taste and the creative process are on the menu: why they matter and how to build, improve and exude them (yes, you can exude creativity). For some reason, they chose to tell you this ankle deep in the Cairns Lagoon.
If that doesn’t sell you, this episode also features a near-comprehensive list of Neil’s fears. (He did, however, fail to mention tripe.)
Oh, and given we’re writing this from the Marketing’s Next Big Headaches panel, here’s a great line from Nick Garrett minutes after he said it: “The superpower of marketing is brand, but you need to make sure your C-suite see brand as risk management, reputation and a growth strategy. Package it in a bit of commercial rigour and intelligence.” Why bring that up now? Because it’s exactly the sort of logic Andrew will be taking to his Cairns Crocs panel on proactive crisis management at 2.35pm tomorrow. If you’re here in the Cairns wind and rain, don’t miss it!
That’s all for now, folks.
P.S> When we said hangovers above, we didn’t mean us. Remember our little visit to Cairns’ best Korean grocer, Damoa Mart, yesterday? Well, it was all for a single purpose: to purchase a box full of Korean hangover drink Condition. Take it from us, it works wonders.
Damoa Mart: it’s 진짜 촣아요!
